About Our Chapter

Welcome to the Texas Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi!

I am incredibly honored to serve as the Chapter President this year! Since I ran home on bid day I have felt nothing but love and support from everyone in the chapter. Pi Phi has blessed me with loyal friendships, unparalleled leadership opportunities, and community service involvement. The transition to college can be difficult, especially at a large school like UT Austin. Pi Phi immediately provided me with a supportive and close-knit community, becoming a beacon of support and love. This chapter fosters a unique bond amongst each of our members, regardless of age, major or hometown. Pi Phi is more than just a sorority; it is a family. We take pride in fostering an inclusive environment where members from various backgrounds and interests come together. Whether you are a freshman finding your way or a graduating senior, each member is an integral part of the vibrant tapestry that makes Pi Phi so special. There is something truly exceptional about this group of young women and I’m so proud that I get to call them my sisters!

Our chapter prides itself on dedicating time to pour into our philanthropic endeavors. Our girls volunteer weekly at Zavala Elementary School where they spend time reading to children in order to serve Pi Phi’s national philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve. Read>Lead>Achieve instills a lifelong love of reading that can unlock true potential by creating a more literate and productive society. One of our most exciting philanthropic events takes place at the Pi Phi House in the form of a Carnival. Our VP Community Relations and Directors of Service and Philanthropy work diligently with our members to sell tickets and promote our philanthropy on campus so as to raise money for this important cause! Regarding sisterhood events, we offer many bonding opportunities for our members to grow in community and friendship. Our chapter leadership team continues to seek methods to promote Pi Phi’s core values of lifelong commitment, sincere friendship, and philanthropic service to others. We are looking forward to the Spring and Fall of 2023, where we will continue to foster lifelong friendships, introduce new members into our chapter, and maintain the traditions that uphold Pi Beta Phi.

I am so proud of each member of our chapter and their accomplishments, which all serve as testaments to the Pi Beta Phi core values. I am so honored to serve as the Texas Alpha Chapter President and I look forward to working with and leading such an impressive group of women. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!
